Christopher is an artist, facilitator, writer, attention activist, and traveler who studies, practices, and (de)constructs at the edges of human be-ing.
With a heart made from many homes, Christopher (he/him/they) holds deeper connections in the suburban gulf coastal region (southeast Houston) and the northeastern island megalopolis (New York City) along this vast, diverse, and aching land called Turtle Island (U.S.A.).
While growing up as a performer, he eventually found his way into institutional social and environmental impact spaces, through progressive student political organizing efforts, campus green teams, and prestigious internships at the Obama White House and the youth-volunteering nonprofit DoSomething.
Over the following ten years, he grew his expertise in marketing, communications, partnerships, org effectiveness, strategy, experience design, campaigning, and mindfulness-based facilitation. But in many of his roles, like ones at B Lab (the org behind the B Corp movement) and Global Citizen, he saw how institutional-led efforts around economic systems change and ending extreme poverty continually failed to disrupt the underlying paradigm of racial capitalism and imperialism, and meet the needs of the most marginalized people.
In 2025, he left his institutional career on a self-funded Life Year. He's now re-emerging with fresh energy and conviction to own his identity as an artist-facilitator, and use his skills to support the people who are working to disrupt these systems of oppression and usher in the pluralist era through art, business, and organizing on the ground.
We will succeed.
And we will do it with delight.
